English Academic Writing
This course is designed to develop critical thinking, reading, oral and writing skills. Emphasis is on the analytical reading of different text types required in the disciplines as well as on synthesis from a variety of sources to produce a written text and present it orally. It also aims at improving academic style, text coherence and cohesion, research writing and referencing conventions, and academic and technical vocabulary.
